Home Warranties
Howard Hanna Insurance Services always recommends that homeowners purchase home warranties to protect themselves in the event of unexpected (but often inevitable) high-cost repairs. 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® offers several warranties and agreements to benefit not only current or soon-to-be homeowners, but also home sellers and builders.
Systems & Appliances Service Agreements
This type of agreement helps to protect homeowners against unexpected expenses by covering the costly repair or replacement of major home systems and appliances, including parts and labor. Home sellers often purchase this agreement while their home is on the market, as it’s considered an added bonus for prospective buyers. Service agreements for protected systems and appliances go into effect when their workmanship coverage or manufacturer warranties expire.
Protected systems include:
- Plumbing
- Furnace
- Air conditioner / Freon split system
- Hot water heater
- Electrical panel / wiring
- Roof
- Refrigerator
- Oven
- Dishwasher
- Built-in microwave
- Disposal
- Trash compactor
- Washer and dryer
